If only they had stopped to talk to the Iranian people…’

Bryce will introduce an Iranian New Zealander, Faranak,
a survivor who fled from the cruel regime & now calls
New Zealand home. Come & hear her story,her perspective on the events in Iran, & support for Israel.
FARANAK
Faranak was born in Iran shortly before the 1979 Islamic Revolution & grew up during the Iran-Iraq war, experiencing air raids & the realties of life under the Islamic Republic. Raised in a non-religious family that had turned away from religion after witnessing political Islam in Iran, she later experienced the regime’s repression firsthand, including arrests & punishments by morality police as a teenager.
At 22 she left Iran & moved to New Zealand, where she discovered the freedom to explore Faith, learning about Christianity & Judaism without coercion. She now lives in Auckland, runs her own software company & speaks about The realties of life under the Iranian regime & the strong connection many Iranians feel with Israel despite the hostility of the Iranian Government.”

Meeting Report
Trish initially introduced Bryce and Faranak, and later introduced another good friend of IFG, Azizeh and her family.
Bryce then gave some background on the current situation and introduced Faranak, who spoke passionately about the support of most Iranians (c. 95%) for the current campaign by the USA and Israel. She compared Iran to an open prison for most Iranians and demonstrated a deep love for Israel and her people.
After her talk there was a question and answer time which was just as revelatory as her talk.
The meeting was well attended, with one estimate of over 100 people.
