IFG Meeting Report for Sun 21 07 19

After Trish's introduction Grant and Nadine lead us in song to start the meeting and set a great tone.

ROSS & IRIS ABERNETHY then spoke about their journey through European Holocaust sites and Israel. The presentation was accompanied by a very informative talk by Ross on the European leg (the European Ebenezer Alliyah trail) including concentration camp sites and other Holocaust memorials, and Iris spoke well about their Israel encounters. For some these were poignant reminders of their own experiences, and for others less experienced a vakuable mine of reliable information.

NADINE COCKER showed us an interview with Alison Marshall which she made in Israel, which was most valuable as a primer on how to relate to Israeli people.

GRANT SALISBURY showed us more slides of his SAR EL experiences and backed up what Alison Marshall had to say on the video in several ways. He also outlined plans for taking a group to serve with SAR EL in the relatively near future.

BARRY PEPPEREL updated us on the latest of his books, and how to use them in a range of situations, including when speaking to others about replacement theology.

We finished with a time of prayer followed by a supper and some good networking and fellowship time.
