Guest Speaker - Tobie Botha

“I am a Sth African born New Zealander. My wife is an English teacher & I have 2 married sons & 2 grandsons. In 2012 I resigned my job as an RTLB & accepted a vacancy at Elim Christian College where I teach Christian Living & Social Studies.

Every year during June/July holidays, Elim College send a group of Year 13 students & teachers to visit Israel.

I have a tremendous love for Israel & the Jewish people & since my conversion in 1985 I pray for Israel every morning of my life.

When the opportunity arose this year I volunteered to introduce a Unit on Israel which was amazingly successful.

My educational background includes a BA PTD DSE & RTLB. I am also Life Coach Graduate from CoachU, USA (www.coachinc.com). My field of studies are History, Religious Studies, Life Coaching, Learning & Behaviour.”

Recently the Israel Focus Group was invited by Tobie to provide speakers to address 100 Year 12 students at Elim Christian College. PERRY TROTTER of SHADOWS OF SHOAH & BRYCE TURNER of CHRISTIANS FOR ISRAEL NEW ZEALAND were warmly received.

Grant Salisbury

Grant will be available to speak with those interested in participating in the Sar-El Experience. Grant is also interested in organizing an adventure type of tour eg camel ride in the Negev, visiting a Kibbutz or ranch with Israeli cowboys, walking the Jesus trail in the Galilee, spending time with Israelis & Messianic congregations + more and more.
